Hello! My name is Isabel Winter and I am a writer from the Western New York area. While I typically find myself writing prose and short stories, my first published work, On Love, is a chapbook of poems that I began writing at the beginning of 2025. On Love is a small collection focusing on my experiences thus far with romantic love and dating.

I often find myself writing in times of great emotion when I am struggling to understand myself and others. My work tends to blur the lines between prose and poetry, becoming stories that all collect to serve a greater narrative. On Love serves as a good introduction to my general approach to poetry and the multiple styles I enjoy.

My hope is that readers can find some meaning in its words, if it can inspire emotion in even one person, I have done my job as a writer.
